Hoist Painting is a platform that connects homeowners with local painting professionals ("Service Providers"). We aim to make it easy to request painting estimates by submitting your project details through our online form.

When you request an estimate, we may share your information with a small number of pre-screened painting pros in your area. These Service Providers operate independently and are not employees or agents of Hoist Painting.

We do not guarantee that a match will be made for every request, nor do we guarantee that any particular Service Provider will accept your request, complete a job, or deliver a certain quality of outcome.

2. How It Works

There are two ways you may use the Services:

• Search for Painters: Browse local painting pros by ZIP code. We provide public-facing profiles where painters can share their information, portfolio, and contact details.
• Request a Quote: Use our form to submit your project details. We may route your request to up to three qualified painters in your area who will contact you directly with estimates.

Please note:

• We are not a contractor, and we do not perform or supervise painting work.
• We do not guarantee pricing, timelines, availability, or quality of service.
• All estimates, service agreements, and final payments are handled directly between you and the Service Provider.

3. No Guarantees or Endorsements

While we take steps to verify basic information about painters listed on our platform, Hoist Painting does not guarantee, endorse, or warrant:

• The accuracy of information provided by Service Providers
• The quality of their work or outcomes
• Their availability, reliability, or communication

You are solely responsible for evaluating a Service Provider before hiring them. Always ask for credentials, insurance documentation, and references as needed.

4. Use of the Platform

You agree to use Hoist Painting only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, or extract content from the site for commercial use
• Spam or solicit Service Providers outside the platform
• Provide false or misleading information in your quote request
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt our system or platform operations

We reserve the right to revoke your access if we believe you are misusing the platform.

5. Information Sharing & Communications

By submitting a quote request, you consent to being contacted by:

• Hoist Painting (via email, phone, or text)
• Our partner painters, who may reach out to you via call, text, or email

Some communications may be automated. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time, but you may still receive transactional messages related to your quote request.

6. Disputes & Liability

Any agreement you make with a painter is strictly between you and that painter. Hoist Painting is not a party to any contract, and we are not responsible for:

• Job completion
• Payment disputes
• Service quality
• Property damage

If an issue arises, you must work directly with the Service Provider to resolve it.

You agree to release Hoist Painting, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your interactions with Service Providers.

7. Limitation of Liability

Hoist Painting provides the Services "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for:

• Losses or damages arising from the use of our website or Services
• Issues between you and any Service Provider
• Errors, interruptions, or security issues on our platform

If you are dissatisfied with any part of the Services, your sole remedy is to discontinue use.
